Finding My Purpose

"Do not model your behavior on the contemporary world, but let the renewing of your minds transform you, so that you may discern for yourselves what is the will of God  -- what is good and acceptable and mature." - Romans 12, 2.


At the beginning of this year I experienced a beautiful period of happiness, joy and excitement. I used to wake up every morning with a big smile with a sense of joy that filled my days, yes,  I was in love. And it felt so good. But as all the things of this world that season ended, it was certainly unexpected, it was hurtful, suddenly I realized a lack of joy and excitement in my life who was turned gray, I felt stuck, frustrated, trapped, my life had no direction that is when I saw how much I needed a change. 

I became conscious that I needed to start walking according to God's purpose more than ever. That is  when I recognized that I don't have a clear idea abut God's purpose for me, I was certainly not completely lost I believe in God, I trust Him, I love Him but I needed to regain my sense of purpose so I could be able to discover what God has for my life.

Why Should We Pray?

"O ur fearlessness towards Him consists in this, that if we ask anything in accordance with his will he hears us. And if we know that He listens to whatever we ask Him, we know that we already possess whatever we have asked of Him. " 1 John 5, 14-15. Praying is the way we could communicate with God, and it help us to bring us closer to Him. There is not something better than spend a one-on-one time with the our loved Father, who knows all our secrets and loves us no matter what. " He is close to all who call upon him, all who call on him from heart " - Psalms 145, 18. By praying we could have access to Divine help when we need it most. Increase my Thankfulness

"Give thanks in all circumstances; this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus." - 1 Thessalonians 5, 18. Dear Lord, please increase my thankfulness. Help me to open my heart to You so I could seek You in the midst of my circumstances. Open my eyes to see the signs of Your unseen presence in my life. Allow me to find You in myriad tiny details  as well as in the big picture of my life.  Grant me to notice all my blessings - small and large -  and to always thank You for them.  Thank You so much for Your unfailing Love.  Amen.
